VietShrimp 2018 press conference: Innovating for success

The Organizing Committee of the Vietnam Shrimp Industry Technology Expo (VietShrimp 2018 – Innovation for Success) held a press conference to introduce the Program. Mr. Nguyen Viet Thang, Chairman of Vietnam Fisheries Association, Head of the Organizing Committee, said that following the success of the first Vietnam Shrimp Industry Technology Expo, 2016 (VietShrimp 2016), contributed to the development of the industry. Vietnamese shrimp is closer to the target of 10 billion USD by 2025 under the direction of the Prime Minister; Bac Lieu Provincial People’s Committee, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development directed the Vietnam Fisheries Association and Vietnam Fisheries Magazine to continue implementing VietShrimp for the second time in 2018 (VietShrimp 2018) with the theme “Innovation for success”.

VietShrimp 2018 this time is expected to attract more than 200 exhibition booths of domestic and international units with many fields such as breeders, feed, nutrition, biological products, veterinary drugs, machinery equipment. machinery, services, logistics… of the shrimp industry in particular and seafood in general. In addition, within the framework of  VietShrimp 2018 there are also international seminars on processing technology of the Vietnamese shrimp industry to provide a lot of information, knowledge, techniques and technological solutions in the shrimp industry in particular and the field of shrimp industry. fisheries in general.

VietShrimp 2018 will not only be a place for businesses to be closer to customers and promote products; farmers can experience products that ensure quality, safety, origin, solutions to overcome difficulties in the environment, diseases, breeds, food…; It also has great significance for scientists to review products under the influence of science – technology and engineering over time. At the same time, VietShrimp 2018 is also an opportunity for Vietnam to promote the image of Vietnamese shrimp, one of our country’s strong products, to friends across five continents.

VietShrimp 2018 will take place from April 27 to 29, 2018, at Cao Van Lau Theater, Hung Vuong Square, Ward 1, Bac Lieu City, Bac Lieu Province.
