VietShrimp through the organization has been very successful. The Directorate of Fisheries welcomes the Vietnam Fisheries Association to continue to organize VietShrimp 2023. This will be a forum for businesses to introduce products and transfer new technologies to the shrimp industry; as well as strengthen trade promotion; discuss solutions on technology, technical processes, policies, management and production organization to ensure responsible shrimp farming, contributing to promoting the effective and sustainable development of Vietnam’s shrimp farming industry.

VietShrimp has contributed to the sustainable development of Vietnam’s shrimp industry. In particular, specialized seminars provide an overview of the shrimp industry in Vietnam and the world; production and supply of shrimp seed; shrimp feed and feed management; environment and disease management; value/supply chains and climate change trends in shrimp production systems. This will be a good opportunity for stakeholders to discuss together and find solutions to solve difficulties and challenges.

VietShrimp is the largest specialized shrimp exhibition held in Vietnam. From a domestic perspective, this is an opportunity to connect science among stakeholders. On the international side, this is the time for Vietnam to promote and enhance the image and position of shrimp globally. VietShrimp is a meaningful, large-scale event that attracts a large number of scientists, managers, businesses, farmers to participate and is highly professional.
